Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Abkömmlings    des     Pyrazolanthrons.       Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin  dung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Darstellung  von.     Py-l.-a-Naphtylpyrazalanthron    der For  mel:

    durch -     Aufeinandereinwirkenlassen    von     Pyr-          azolanthron,        a-Bromnaphtalin    und Pottasche  bei erhöhter     Temperatur        in.        Gegenwart    einer  geringen Menge eines Kupferkatalysators  für die     Halogenwasserstoffabspalltung.    Das  erhaltene Produkt findet zur     Herstellung    von       Küpenfarbstoffen    Verwendung.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  Gleiche     Gewichtsteile        Pyrazolanthron    und       a-Bromnaphtalin    werden in etwa der acht  fachen Menge Nitrobenzol unter     Zusatz    der  berechneten Menge wasserfreien     Ka.lium-          karbonats        und        einer        Spur    Kupferkarbonat  so lange unter     R'"cuhren    zum Sieden erhitzt,  bis die Umsetzung beendet ist.

   Nach dem  Erkalten     wird        abgesaugt,    mit     Äthylalkohol,          verdünnter        iSalzsäure    und heissem Wasser zur  Beseitigung des     Lösungsmittels    und der     an-          organischen    Salze     gewaschen        und    getrocknet.

    Das     Py-1-a-Napthylpyrazolanthro@n    bleibt als  gelbbrauner     Rückstand,        edier        erst    oberhalb  <B>300'</B> schmilzt und sich     in,        konzentrierter     Schwefelsäure mit     gelbroter        Farbe    löst.  



  Ein Produkt vorn     ganz    gleichen Eigen  schaften;     wird        erhalten,        wenn.    zuerst     Pyrazol..          anthron    und     Kaliumkarbonat    in Nitrobenzol  zusammen erhitzt werden bis sich das rote       Kalisalz    des     Pyrazolanthrons,    gebildet hat,  und dieses dann unter Einhaltung der oben      geschilderten Bedingungen mit     a-Brom-          naphtaalin    zur Umsetzung gebracht wird.

    by allowing pyrazolanthrone, a-bromonaphthalene and potash to act on one another at an elevated temperature in the presence of a small amount of a copper catalyst for the elimination of hydrogen halide. The product obtained is used for the production of vat dyes.

      <I> Example: </I> Equal parts by weight of pyrazolanthrone and α-bromonaphthalene are heated to the boil with about eight times the amount of nitrobenzene with the addition of the calculated amount of anhydrous calcium carbonate and a trace of copper carbonate for as long as possible until the implementation is complete.

   After cooling, it is filtered off with suction, washed with ethyl alcohol, dilute hydrochloric acid and hot water to remove the solvent and inorganic salts and dried.

    The Py-1-a-Napthylpyrazolanthro @ n remains as a yellow-brown residue, it only melts above <B> 300 '</B> and dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a yellow-red color.



  A product with the same properties; is received when. first pyrazole .. anthrone and potassium carbonate are heated together in nitrobenzene until the red potassium salt of pyrazole anthrone has formed, and this is then reacted with α-bromonaphtaalin while observing the conditions described above.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of Py-1-a-naphtylpyrazol.anthro@n, characterized in that pyrazolanthrone, a-bromonaphthalene and potash are allowed to act one after the other in the presence of a small amount of a copper catalyst for the elimination of hydrogen halide at elevated temperature .
