Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines orange färbenden     Nüpenfarbstoffes    der       Anthanthronreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man den  im Zusatzpatent Nr.<B>130618</B> beschriebenen  rötlichen orange färbenden     Küpenfarbstoff     der     Anthanthronreihe    auch erhält, wenn man  Brom ohne Zusatz eines Verdünnungsmittels  auf     Anthanthron    bei Temperaturen unter  <B>1000</B> einwirken lässt.  



  Die Reaktion kann durch Zusatz eines  geeigneten Katalysators, wie Jod, beschleu  nigt werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  1 Teil fein gepulvertes     Anthanthron    wird  mit etwa 10 Teilen Brom versetzt und die  Mischung einige Stunden bei gewöhnlicher  Temperatur gerührt. Dann wird der Über  schuss an Brom entfernt, zum Beispiel durch  Destillation im Vakuum, von etwa anhaftenden  Spuren Brom wird das Produkt in üblicher  Weise befreit,     zum    Beispiel durch Erwärmen    mit     Bisulfit    oder verdünnter Soda. Der so  erhaltene     Farbstoff    entspricht der wahr  scheinlichen Formel

    Der so erhaltene     Küpenfarbstoff    stellt ein  rötliches Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure leuchtend grün löst.

   Aus  der violetten     Hydrosulfitküpe    färbt er pflanz  liche Faser in gleichen Tönen an, die beim  Verhängen in ein leuchtendes Rotorange von  ausgezeichneter Echtheit, insbesondere gegen  Licht, übergehen.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines orange färbenden Küpenfarbstoffes der Anthanthron- reihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Brom ohne Zusatz eines Verdünnungsmittels auf Anthanthron bei Temperaturen unter 1001' einwirken lässt. Der so erhaltene Küpenfarbstoff stellt ein rötliches Pulver dar, das sich in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure leuchtend grün löst. Aus der violetten Hydrosulfitküpe färbt er pflanz liche Faser in gleichen Tönen an, die beim Verhängen in ein leuchtendes Rotorange von ausgezeichneter Echtheit, insbesondere gegen Licht, übergehen.
