Description
verfahren zur Darstellung der Sulfaminsäure des Diphenylamins. Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist ein Ver fahren zur Darstellung der Sulfaminsäure des Diphenylamins, welches dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man S03 abgebende Mittel auf Diphenylamin oder diphenylamin- haltige Gemische in Gegenwart eines säure bindenden Mittels, mit oder ohne Anwen dung eines indifferenten Lösungs- oder Ver- dünnungsmittels, einwirken lässt.
Beispiel: Zu einer Lösung von 169 Gewichtsteilen Diphenylamin in 500 Gewichtsteilen wasser freiem Pyri.din wird ein Gemisch aus 300 Gewichtsteilen Chlorsulfonsäure und 800 Gewichtsteilen trockenem Pyridin gegeben und diese Mischung auf etwa 50 solange erwärmt, bis die Sulfaminsäurebildung be endet ist. Nach Eintragen des Reaktionsge misches in überschüssige Sodalösung bläst man das Pyridin mit Wasserdampf ab und salzt aus der filtrierten wässerig-alkalischen Rückstandlösun-g die Sulfaminsäure aus.
Sie kristallisiert als Natriumsalz in Form von farblosen Blättchen, ist in Wasser sehr leicht löslich und erleidet beim Erwärmen mit verdünnten Säuren eine Spaltung in Schwefelsäure und Diphenylamin.

Example: A mixture of 300 parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid and 800 parts by weight of dry pyridine is added to a solution of 169 parts by weight of diphenylamine in 500 parts by weight of anhydrous pyridine and this mixture is heated to about 50 until sulfamic acid formation has ended. After the reaction mixture has been introduced into excess soda solution, the pyridine is blown off with steam and the sulfamic acid is salted out from the filtered aqueous-alkaline residue solution.
It crystallizes as the sodium salt in the form of colorless flakes, is very easily soluble in water and, when heated with dilute acids, breaks down into sulfuric acid and diphenylamine.
