Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention est représentée, à titre d'exemple, sur les fig. 1 à 4 du dessin, dans lequel: La fig. 1 est une vue en élévation par tielle du réveil; La fig. 2 montre en perspective plusieurs organes de la fig. 1; La. fig. 3 est une coupe suivant la ligne 7-7 de la fig. 1, plusieurs parties étant sup primées; La, fig. 4 est une élévation de face de parties du réveil; Les fig. 5 et 6 sont .respectivement une vue en perspective et une vue en plan d'un dispositif d'arrêt de la sonnerie du réveil;
Alarm clock. The present invention relates to an alarm clock comprising a time setting pin resting against a cam wheel actuated by the clockwork movement of the alarm clock. According to the invention, the striking spring, by means of a transmission mechanism, constantly pushes the wheel to, cam in engagement with. the setting pin.
the hour, so that the wheel at. cam keeps the transmission mechanism and the striking spring locked until the notch of the cam is brought in front of the time setting pin, the cam wheel then releasing the striking spring and the mechanism transmission, which determines the activation of the bell, this arrangement thus making it possible to eliminate the triggering spring of previously known devices.
An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown, by way of example, in FIGS. 1 to 4 of the drawing, in which: FIG. 1 is a partial elevational view of the alarm clock; Fig. 2 shows in perspective several members of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 is a section taken along line 7-7 of FIG. 1, several parts being deleted; The, fig. 4 is a front elevation of parts of the clock; Figs. 5 and 6 are respectively a perspective view and a plan view of a device for stopping the ringing of the alarm clock;
Fig. 7 shows a second embodiment of the alarm clock and di-L ring stopping device; Figs. 8 to 10 show details. In the alarm clock shown in Figs. 1 to 4, the oscillating shaft 5 with anchor 4 is provided with an arm 7 which is engaged with the branch 20 'of an angled lever 20 articulated on an axis 21 carried by the plate 10 of the alarm clock; the branch 20 \ of this lever is forked and engages with the hub of the cam wheel 12 13.
The striking spring 1 urges the escape wheel 2 by means of the mechanism 3 and constantly tends to rotate this wheel according to the arrow 23 (FIG. 4). The escape wheel thus hits the anchor -1; this anchor tends to rotate and to drag with it the following shaft 5 24. The arm 7 of the shaft 5 strikes the branch 20 'of the lever 20 and tends to turn this following lever 25, so that the branch fall oven 20 \ pushes along 11 the cam wheel 12 13; this cam is therefore lightly applied by its edge on the pin 16.
Consequently, during the regular operation of the alarm clock, before the alarm is triggered, the lever 20 blocks the oscillating shaft 5 and its anchor 4, this anchor itself blocking the. escape wheel 2 and consequently the transmission mechanism 3 and the striking spring 1; the whole bell is immobilized.
The wheel 12 rotates under the action of the clockwise mechanism, so that at the time marked by the alarm clock the notch of the cam 13 is located opposite the pin 16; this cam, as well as the wheel 12 which is integral with it, therefore moves along arrow 11. The lever 20 stops being abutted against the wheel 1.2 and rotates along 25 around its axis 21; the arm 7 of the shaft 5 is released and this shaft with its anchor 4 oscillates freely around its axis under the action of the escape wheel 2 which rotates under the action of the spring 1 and the mechanism 3.
The oscillating shaft 5 drives the hammer 6 which strikes the alarm clock.
The alarm clock shown provides certain advantages.
First of all, the bent lever 20 makes it possible to eliminate the triggering spring of previously known devices: the thrust of the triggering spring is thus replaced by the thrust of the lever 20, which thrust can always be low enough for the cam 13, by turning with the wheel 12, does not drag the time setting pin 16, which would prevent the operation of the alarm.
In addition, the spring 1 of the bell, when it is relaxed, no longer exerts any pressure on the lever 20 which can turn idle on its axis. Consequently, if. the alarm clock is then placed flat, so that the weight of the wheel 12 and of the cam 13 urges this seemingly in the opposite direction to the. arrow 11, the pin 16 for setting the time completely escapes. the cam 13: as a result, the shaft 1.1 can easily be turned to bring this pin to the point corresponding to the time when we want the alarm clock to go off; if we change this point, we can. without difficulty:
rotate the shaft. 14 in the opposite direction so as to. bring pin 16 back exactly to the time chosen: cam 13 cannot oppose these various movements, since this cam has completely escaped pin 16.
Any device for stopping the ringing can be combined with the device described above, in particular that shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the latter positive say, which is well known, comprises a pawl: 30 oscillating about an axis 31 and biased by a return spring 32: this pawl is actuated by a control screw 33 and can come under the action of this screw engage between the teeth of escape wheel 2, block this wheel and stop the chime.
In the second embodiment (.fil-. 7), the oscillating lever 20 has a I-shape whose branches 20 'and 20 \ exactly play the roles previously explained with the aid of FIGS. 1 to 4.
The 2W branch of this oscillating lever is arranged below a positive stop device comprising the following elements: a bush 35 is screwed into the casing 36 of the alarm clock and serves as a housing for a piston 37 with three diameters bearing a 3 ± pin which, in the position shown in fig. 7, engages in two diametrically opposed notches 39 of the lower part of the bush 35. The coil 10 placed around the piston 37 constantly pushes the latter upwards: a small lever or key 41 is provided at the upper part of the piston and is used to move it.
The immobilization of the buzzer is obtained by pressing the lever 41 until the projection 412 of the piston 37 abuts against the upper part of the socket 35, which has the effect of making the pin 38 come out of the notches 39 ; a rotational movement is then imparted, either to the right or to the left, to the piston 37, by about a quarter of a turn, so that the pin 38 comes to rest on the lower edge of the sleeve 35.
The piston 37 acts on the branch 203 of the T-lever 20 and immobilizes this lever, even though the notch of the cam 13 is located opposite the pin 16: the shaft 5 is thus blocked by its arm 7; the ringing is stopped.
To facilitate the adjustments, a washer 45 is placed between the bush 35 and 36 and the position of the lever or key 41 indicates whether the positive device is stationary or in operation.
