Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den o-Oxyazo- farbstoff, der erhalten wird durch Reduzie ren des Kupplungsproduktes der nitrierten Diazoverbindung der 1-Amino-2-oxynaph- thalin-4-sulfosäure mit f8-Naphthol in des sen co-Methansulfosäurederivat überführt,
zum Beispiel durch Behandeln mit Formal dehyd und Bisulfit oder formaldehydschwef- liger Säure bezw. deren Salzen. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein schwarzes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit violettbrauner, in ver dünnter Natronlauge mit schwärzlich vio- lettbrauner und in Sololösung mit grünlich blauer Farbe löst. Im Gegensatz zum Aus gangsfarbstoff ist das neue Produkt schon in kaltem Wasser löslich und bleibt auch nach -Versetzen seiner Lösungen xnit Mine ralsäure gelöst.
Beispiel 450 Teile des o-Oxyazofarbstoffes, der erhalten wird durch Reduzieren des Kupp lungsproduktes der nitrierten Diazoverbin- Jung der 1-Amino-2-oxynaphthalin-4-sulfo- säure mit ss-Naphthol, zweckmässig in Form des frisch hergestellten Reduktionsansatzes, werden mittelst 45 Teilen Ätznatron in zirka 8000 Teilen Wasser bei<B>50'</B> gelöst, worauf man eine Mischung von 100 Teilen 35 %iges Formaldehyd und 28,5 Teilen 40 %iger Natriumbisulfitlauge beifügt.
Man rührt einige Zeit und versetzt hierauf mit so viel 10 %iger Essigsäure, bis die intensiv blaue Farbe der Lösung nach violett umge schlagen ist, salzt aus und filtriert.
