Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Entwichlerfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller       Entwicklerfarbstoff    erhalten wird, wenn man  1     Mol.        tetrazotiertes        o-Tolidin    mit 2     Mol.          3'-Amino    -     4'-methyl-        5'-sulfo    -     l-phenyl-5-pyra-          zolon-3-karbonsäure    kuppelt.  



  Der neue     Farbstoff    bildet ein braun  schwarzes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit  blauroter, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure  mit blauvioletter Farbe löst. Er färbt     unge-          beizte    Baumwolle in     bordeauroten    Tönen,  welche durch     Diazotieren    auf der Faser und  nachfolgende Entwicklung mit     f-Naphtol     ohne wesentliche     Nuancenänderung    wasch  echt fixiert werden.  



       Beispiel     Die     Tetrazolösung    aus 21,2 Teilen     o-To-          lidin    wird bei<B>0-51</B> C mit. der neutralen  Lösung des     Trinatriumsalzes    von 62,6 Teilen       3'-Amino-4'-methyl    -     5'-sulfo-        i-phenyl-5-pyra-          zolon-3-karbonsäure    verrührt. Die Kupplung    ist nach wenigen Stunden beendigt. Es wird  sodann die Lösung von 20 Teilen     kalzinierter     Soda     zugegeben,    aufgekocht und der Farb  stoff     ausgesalzen.  



  Process for the preparation of a developer dye. It has been found that a valuable developer dye is obtained if 1 mole of tetrazotized o-tolidine is mixed with 2 moles of 3'-amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3 -carboxylic acid couples.



  The new dye forms a brown-black powder that dissolves in water with a blue-red color, and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue-violet color. It dyes unstained cotton in bordeaux red tones, which are fixed by diazotizing on the fiber and subsequent development with f-naphthol without any significant change in shade.



       Example The tetrazo solution from 21.2 parts of o-tolidin is at <B> 0-51 </B> C with. the neutral solution of the trisodium salt of 62.6 parts of 3'-amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-i-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid was stirred. The coupling is completed after a few hours. The solution of 20 parts of calcined soda is then added, the mixture is boiled and the dye is salted out.

Claim: Process for the preparation of a developer dye, characterized in that 1 mol. Tetrazotized o-tolidine is mixed with 2 mol. 3'-amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3 -carboxylic acid couples. The new dye forms a brown-black powder that dissolves in water with a blue-red color, and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue-violet color.
