Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Zwischenproduktes der Teerfarbenindustrie. Es wurde -gefunden,, dass man ein neues Zwischenprodukt der Teerfarbenindustrie, das 2. 4-Diphenylamino-6-p-oxynaphthyl-l . 3.
5- triazin, erhält, wenn man das Kondensations produkt aus einem Molekül Cyanurtrihalo- genid und zwei Molekülen Anilin auf a-Naph- thol, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von Kon- densationsmittelu und von Verdünnungsmit teln einwirken lässt.
Das 2. 4-Diphenylamino- 6-p-.o@gy-naphthyl-l.3.5-triazin bildet ein schwach gefärbtes Pulver, es löst sieh in Ätzalkalien mit gelber, in konzentrierter ,Schwefelsäure mit oranger Färbe. Es schmilzt, aus Aceton-Xylol umgefällt, bei 241 bis 242'. Es ist ein wertvolles Zwischen produkt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen. Beispiel: In 2,8 Teilen a-Nafphthol werden 29,8 Teile des bei<B>196</B> bis 197 schmelzenden Konden sationsproduktes aus einem Molekül Cyanur- chlorid und zwei Molekülen Anilin, nebst 10 Teilen Aluminiumchlorid eingetragen.
Nach kurzem Erwärmen auf<B>115'</B> wird die Schmelze gepulvert, mit Wasser ausgekocht und dann mit zirka 15 % starker Natronlauge erwärmt. Es scheidet sich ein Natriumsalz als halbfeste Masse ab, welche beim Verdünnen mit hei ssem Wasser in Lösung mit gelber Farbe geht. Aus dieser Lösung fällt Kochsalz das Natriumsalz des neuen Kondensationsproduk tes aus.
Wird es in Wasser gelöst und mit Essigsäure vorsichtig versetzt, so wird das 2. 4-Diphenylamino-6-p-oxy-napbthyl-l. 3 . 5- triazin erhalten, das durch Lösen in Äther, Versetzen mit Xylol und Abdunsten des Äthers oder durch Kristallisieren aus Nitro- benzol weiter gereinigt werden kann.

5-triazine, is obtained when the condensation product of one molecule of cyanuric trihalide and two molecules of aniline is allowed to act on α-naphthol, if appropriate in the presence of condensation agents and diluents.
The 2. 4-Diphenylamino- 6-p-.o@gy-naphthyl-l.3.5-triazine forms a weakly colored powder, it dissolves in caustic alkalis with yellow, in concentrated sulfuric acid with orange color. Reprecipitated from acetone-xylene, it melts at 241 to 242 '. It is a valuable intermediate in the manufacture of dyes. Example: 29.8 parts of the condensation product which melts at 196 to 197 and composed of one molecule of cyanuric chloride and two molecules of aniline, plus 10 parts of aluminum chloride, are introduced into 2.8 parts of a-nafphthol.
After briefly heating to <B> 115 '</B>, the melt is powdered, boiled with water and then heated with around 15% sodium hydroxide solution. A sodium salt separates out as a semi-solid mass which, when diluted with hot water, goes into solution with a yellow color. Common salt, the sodium salt of the new condensation product, precipitates from this solution.
If it is dissolved in water and carefully mixed with acetic acid, the 2. 4-diphenylamino-6-p-oxy-napthyl-l. 3. 5- triazine obtained, which can be further purified by dissolving in ether, adding xylene and evaporation of the ether or by crystallizing from nitrobenzene.
