Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Zwischenproduktes der Teerfarbenindustrie. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Zwischenprodukt der Teerfarbenindustrie, das 2-Chlor-4-o-tolylamino-6-p-oxy-naphthyl- 1, 3, 5-triazin, erhält, wenn man ein Molekül des Kondensationsproduktes aus einem Mole kül Cyanurchlorid und einem Molekül-o- Toluidin auf ein Molekül a-Naphthol,
gege benenfalls in Gegenwart von Kondensations- mitteln und von Verdünnungsmitteln einwir ken lässt. Das 2-Chlor-4-o-tolylamino-6-p- oxy-naphthyl-1, 3, 5-triazin bildet als Chlor wasserstoffverbindung ein gelboranges Pul ver; es löst sieh in Itzalkalien mit gelber, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit oranger Farbe. Es ist ein wertvolles Zwischenpro dukt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen.

In 1600 Teilen Tetrachloräthau werden unter Eiskühlung 51,2 Teile des Kondensa tionsproduktes aus einem Molekül Cyanur- chlorid und einem Molekül o-Toluidin zu sammen mit 29 Teilen a-Naphthol und 51 Teilen Aluminiumchlorid eingetragen. Man rührt längere Zeit, wobei man die Tempera- tur allmählich bis<B>15'</B> steigen lässt, bläst das Verdünnungsmittel mit Wasserdampf aus und trocknet den Rückstand.
Dieser wird in Aceton gelöst, die so erhaltene Lösung schei det beim Einleiten von Chlorwasserstoffgas die Doppelverbindung des 2-Chlor-4-o-tolyl- amino-6-p-oxy-nap,hthyl - 1, 3, 5 - triazins in Form eines gelborangen Pulvers aus.
