Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von V-Ogyphenyl-4-aminopyren. Gemäss dem im Hauptpatent beschriebenen Verfahren erhält man das 4'-Oxyphenyl-3- aminopyren, wenn man 3-Oxypyren mit 1-Oxy- 4-aminobenzol in Gegenwart von Bisulfitlauge bei Temperaturen von etwa 130-170 C kondensiert.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von 4'-Oxy- phenyl-4-aminopyren, welches dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man 4-Oxypyren mit 1-Oxy-4-aminobenzol in Gegenwart von Bisul- fitlauge bei Temperaturen von etwa<B>130</B> bis <B>1700</B> C und in Gegenwart eines erheblichen Überschusses des genannten Aminophenols behandelt.
Beispiel: 2 Teile 4-Oxypyren werden mit 4,4 Teilen 1-Oxy-4-aminobenzol, 20 Volumenteilen Bisul- fitlauge (30 BA) und 1,2 Teilen Natrium sulfit 38 Stunden auf<B>160-1700</B> erhitzt, nach dem Abfiltrieren mit heissem Wasser extrahiert, in Natronlauge mit etwas Hydro- sulfit gelöst, mit Bisulfit gefällt und mit Benzol extrahiert. Das hellgelbe Reaktions produkt zeigt keinen bestimmten Schmelz punkt und wird beim Stehen an der Luft schwarzblau. Es dient als Zwischenprodukt für die Herstellung von Farbstoffen.

Example: 2 parts of 4-oxypyrene are mixed with 4.4 parts of 1-oxy-4-aminobenzene, 20 parts by volume of bisulfite liquor (30 BA) and 1.2 parts of sodium sulfite for 38 hours to 160-1700 heated, after filtering off extracted with hot water, dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution with a little hydrosulfite, precipitated with bisulfite and extracted with benzene. The light yellow reaction product shows no particular melting point and turns black-blue when standing in air. It is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of dyes.
