End-of-stroke stop device for machines. The object of the present invention is an end-of-stroke stopping device for machines to be disengaged after having made a determined number of revolutions, for example for winches, reversal of movement, safety stop for machine tools, etc. , comprising a mechanism causing the triggering of the drive members, consisting of at least two pairs of toothed wheels having different reduction ratios.
Figs. 1 to 4 of the appended drawing represent, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention; Fig. 1 is a schematic elevation view of the winch as a whole; Fig. 2 is a schematic end view of the winch, in elevation; Fig. 3 is a schematic section through the control device of the release lever; Fig. 4 is a view in partial section through a plane perpendicular to the axis of the positive device shown in FIG. 3.
The winch carried by the uprights 1 and 1 'is provided with the drum 2 driven by means of reducers placed inside the protection device 3 by the pulley 4 fixedly mounted on the control shaft, and next to which is the pulley 5 mounted freely on said shaft. Fork 6 controls the movement of the pulley drive belt mounted freely on the fixed pulley; and vice versa. This fork 6 is driven by means of the rod 7 provided with a handle 8 and further provided with a stopper 9. The whole of the rod 7 with the bodies mentioned born is subjected to the thrust of a spring 10 which constantly tends to cause the displacement of said rod so as to cause the drive belt of the fixed pulley 4 to pass over the freely mounted pulley 5.
In the stopper 9 of the rod 7 is engaged a lever 11 provided with a cleat 11 'articulated in 12 on the frame of the winch 1'.
The axis of the drum is shown at 13 at Eg. 3, and carries a crank 14 on the end of which are mounted two coaxial pinions 15 and 16 identical to each other. A crown 17 fixed on the frame of the winch carries an internal toothing 18 which is in engagement with the toothing of the pinion 15. A further crown 19 is on the other hand mounted freely on the axis of the drum and carries a toothing internal 20 which meshes with that of pinion 16. The toothing 20 has a number of teeth lower than the number of teeth of the toothing 18. The crown 19 also carries on the outside a boss 21 which during the rotation of 19 comes into contact with lever 11 and lift it: The operation of the device described is as follows.
When lifting a load by means of the winch and when it is desired to stop this lifting at a defined height, which is obtained by placing the crown 19 in such a position with respect to the lever 11 that the path that the ring gear 19 provided with the boss 21 must run, which must lift the release lever 11, corresponds to a determined number of revolutions of the winch drum, it is necessary to cause the passage of the drive belt at the desired time of the fixed pulley 4 on the freely mounted pulley 5. This passage naturally determines the shutdown of the winch. Said passage is controlled by the release of the rod 7 by means of the lifting of the lever 11 under the effect of the thrust exerted by the boss 21.
The latter will come into contact with the rod, respectively, its cleat 11 'when the crown 19 has traversed a certain angle; this partial rotation is obtained by the fact that the pinion 15 driven by its rotation relative to the toothing 18 carried by the ring 17 fixed to the winch, causes the rotation of 19 by means of its toothing 20 engaged on 16 Whereas the two pinions being identical, a difference between the number of teeth of the toothing 18 and the number of teeth of the toothing 19 has been provided for.
