Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Zwischenproduktes der Teerfarbenindustrie. ä s wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Zwischenprodukt, das tertiäre Kondensations produkt von einem Mol. Cyanurchlorid mit einem Mol. 1,8-Aminonaphtol-3.,6-disulfosäure und zwei Hol.
o-Toluidin, erhält, wenn man auf ein Mol. Cyanurchlorid in beliebiger Rei henfolge ein! Mol. 1,8-Aminonaphtol-3,6--di- sulfosäure und zwei Mol. o-Toluidin einwir ken lässt.
Diese Kondensation wird durch Zusam menrühren der Komponenten in einem geeig neten Verdünnungsmittel durchgeführt, und es wurde gefunden, dass Wasser als solches in überraschender Weise sehr gut geeignet ist. Das tertiäre Kondensationsprodukt aus einem Mol. Cyanurchlorid mit einem Mol. 1,8-Ami- nonaphtol-3,6-disulfosäure und zwei Mol. o- Toluidin bildet als Alkalisalz ein in Wasser lösliches, fast farbloses Pulver.
Es enthält kein reaktionsfähiges Chloratom mehr und stellt ein wertvolles Ausgangsmaterial zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen dar.
Beispiel: 18,5 Teile Cyanurchlorid werden in 500 Teilen Wasser suspendiert und mit -einer L6- sung von 83,1 Teilen des Dinatriumsalzes der 1,8 - Aminonaphtol - 3,6 - disulfosäure in 200 Teilen Wasser in der Kälte verrührt, bis klare Lösung eingetreten ist. Man fügt nun 10,7 Teile o-Toluidin und 28 Teile kristallisiertes Natriumacetat hinzu und rührt bei gewöhn licher Temperatur, bis kein o-Toluidin mehr nachweisbar ist.
Hierauf gibt man nochmals 10,7 Teile o-Toluidin und 14 Teile kristalli siertes Natriumaoetat hinzu und erwärmt un ter Rühren bis zum Verschwinden des o-To- luidins. Das neue tertiäre KondeDsationspro- dukt wird hierauf durch Aussäuern abge schieden.

This condensation is carried out by stirring the components together in a suitable diluent, and it has been found that water as such is surprisingly very suitable. The tertiary condensation product of one mole of cyanuric chloride with one mole of 1,8-aminonaphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid and two moles of o-toluidine forms, as the alkali metal salt, an almost colorless powder which is soluble in water.
It no longer contains a reactive chlorine atom and is a valuable starting material for the production of dyes.
Example: 18.5 parts of cyanuric chloride are suspended in 500 parts of water and stirred with a solution of 83.1 parts of the disodium salt of 1,8-aminonaphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid in 200 parts of water in the cold until clear Solution has occurred. 10.7 parts of o-toluidine and 28 parts of crystallized sodium acetate are now added and the mixture is stirred at the usual temperature until o-toluidine is no longer detectable.
A further 10.7 parts of o-toluidine and 14 parts of crystallized sodium acetate are then added and the mixture is heated with stirring until the o-toluidine has disappeared. The new tertiary condensation product is then deposited by acidification.
