Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines     indigoiden        Farbstoffes    der     Anthracenreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     indi-          goiden    Farbstoff der     Anthracenreihe,    den  2 -     3-Anthrachinon-bis-thionaphthenindigo,    er  hält, wenn man die 2 -     3-Anthrachinonthio-          glykolkarbonsäurc,    in Gegenwart eines ge  eigneten Verdünnungsmittels auf höhere Tem  peratur erhitzt.  



  Die Herstellung des     indigoden    Farb  stoffes kann mit derjenigen der 2 -     3-Anthra-          chinonthioglylzolkarbonsäure    in einem Ar  beitsgang vereinigt werden.  



       Der    2 -     3-Anthrachinon-bis-thionaphten-          indigo    bildet ein     tiefgrünschwarzes    Pulver,  welches sich in Schwefelsäure mit grüner  Farbe löst und mit     Hy        drosulfit    und Natron  lauge eine     olivebraune        Küpe    bildet, aus  welcher     Baumwolle    in blauen Farbtönen ge  färbt wird.  



  <I>Beispiel 1:</I>  35 Teile 2 -     3-Anthrachinonthioglykol-          karbonsäure    werden mit 500 Teilen Wasser  in einem geschlossenen Gefäss mehrere Stun  den auf 190 bis 200   erhitzt. Der aus-    geschiedene Farbstoff wird mit Soda aus  gekocht, filtriert, reichlich gewaschen und  getrocknet.  



  <I>Beispiel 2:</I>  46,2 Teile     thioglykolsaures    Natrium und  92 Teile     2.3-chloranthrachinonkarbonsaures     Natrium werden in einem geschlossenen Ge  fäss mit 600 Teilen Wasser mehrere Stun  den auf<B>190</B> bis 200   erhitzt. Es bildet     sick     zunächst die 2 -     3-Anthrachinonthioglykol-          karbonsäure,    welche ohne weiteres in den  Farbstoff des Beispiels 1 übergeht.

  The production of the indigo dyestuff can be combined with that of the 2-3-anthraquinone thioglyl carboxylic acid in one work step.



       The 2-3-anthraquinone-bis-thionaphten- indigo forms a deep green black powder which dissolves in sulfuric acid with a green color and forms an olive-brown vat with hydrosulfite and sodium hydroxide solution, from which cotton is dyed in blue shades.



  <I> Example 1 </I> 35 parts of 2-3-anthraquinone thioglycolic acid are heated to 190 to 200 for several hours with 500 parts of water in a closed vessel. The separated dye is boiled with soda, filtered, washed copiously and dried.



  <I> Example 2: </I> 46.2 parts of sodium thioglycol and 92 parts of sodium 2,3-chloranthraquinone are heated to 190 to 200 for several hours in a closed vessel with 600 parts of water. It first forms the 2-3-anthraquinone thioglycol carboxylic acid, which is readily converted into the dye of Example 1.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines indi- goiden Farbstoffes der Anthracenreihe, des 2 - 3 -Anthrachinon-bis-thionaphthenindigos, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die 2 - 3 Anthrachinonthioglykolkarbonsäure in Ge genwart eines geeigneten Verdünnungsmittels auf höhere Temperatur erhitzt.
