Description

  

  Verfahren zur     Eierstellung    eines     Anthracenderivates.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       Anthracenderivat,    die     2.3-Anthracenthio-          glykolkarbonsäure,    erhält, wenn man die       2.3-Anthrachinonthioglykolkarbonsäure    mit  geeigneten Reduktionsmitteln behandelt.

   Die       2.3-Anthraeenthioglykolkarbonsäure    bildet  ein zitronengelbes Pulver; sie ist in     Nitro-          benzol,    Alkohol und kochendem Wasser  schwerlöslich; sie löst sich in kochendem  Eisessig mit gelblicher, in Schwefelsäure  mit oranger, in     Chlorsulfosäure    zunächst  mit tiefroter, dann mit brauner, in Alkalien  kalt schwer, heiss leicht mit oliver Farbe.

           Beispiel:       50 Teile     2.3-Anthrachinonthioglykol-          karbonsäure    werden in 1000 Teile 12     %iges     Ammoniak eingetragen, mit<B>125</B> Teilen Zink  staub versetzt und unter gutem Rühren so  lange am     Rückflusskühler    gekocht, bis die  zunächst tief kirschrot werdende, nachher  braun gefärbte Lösung völlig entfärbt ist.    Dann wird vom Zink     abfiltriert,    das Ammo  niak     abdestilliert,    nochmals filtriert und     heiss     mit Mineralsäure gefällt. -

           Example: 50 parts of 2,3-anthraquinone thioglycolic acid are added to 1000 parts of 12% ammonia, 125 parts of zinc dust are added and the mixture is boiled on the reflux condenser with thorough stirring until the first becomes deep cherry red brown colored solution is completely discolored. The zinc is then filtered off, the ammonia is distilled off, filtered again and precipitated while hot with mineral acid. -

Die 2.3-Anthracenthioglykolkarbonsäure bildet ein zitronengelbes Pulver; sie ist in Nitrobenzol, Alkohol und kochendem Wasser schwerlöslich; sie löst sich in kochendem Eis essig mit gelblicher, in Schwefelsäure mit oranger, in Chlorsulfosäure zunächst mit tiefroter, dann mit brauner, in Alkalien kalt schwer, heiss leicht mit oliver Farbe.
