Abstract

L'invention porte sur un tuyau en acier pour injection de vapeur, qui présente une grande limite d'écoulement même à une température de 350°C. Elle porte plus précisément sur un tuyau en acier sans soudure pour injection de vapeur, qui a une composition chimique qui comprend, en % en masse, 0,03-0,08 % de C, 0,05-0,5 % de Si, 1,5-3,0 % de Mn, plus de 0,4 mais au plus 1,2 % Mo, 0,005-0,100 % d'Al, 0,001-0,005 % de Ca, 0,002-0,015 % de N, au plus 0,03 % de P, au plus 0,01 % de S et au plus 1,5 % de Cu, le reste étant constitué de Fe et des impuretés. Le tuyau en acier sans soudure pour injection de vapeur est fabriqué par une opération de déformation à chaud, suivie d'une opération de refroidissement à l'eau, d'une opération de trempe et d'une opération de revenu.
