Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé cyclique simple, économique et efficace pour produire, à partir de saumure, du chlorure de sodium fluide enrichi à la glycine et de forme dodécaédrique rhomboïdale. Ledit procédé comporte les étapes consistant à ajouter, à la saumure saturée, de la glycine en concentration variant entre 10 et 25 %, à faire évaporer la saumure saturée contenant la glycine en vue d'obtenir des cristaux possédant une teneur élevée en glycine, avec la lessive mère, à laver les cristaux avec la saumure saturée pour obtenir du chlorure de sodium enrichi à la glycine, de forme dodécaédrique rhomboïdale et d'une teneur en glycine comprise entre 0,5 et 1,0 %, et une saumure lavée, à associer la liqueur mère et la saumure lavée pour obtenir une saumure réactionnelle, à soumettre cette saumure réactionnelle à une évaporation solaire, et à répéter les étapes (iii) à (v) en vue d'obtenir, à partir de la saumure, du chlorure de sodium enrichi à la glycine, de forme dodécaédrique rhomboïdale et d'une concentration en glycine comprise entre 0,5 et 1,0 %.
