Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme d'entraînement (5) pour ascenseur (1) comprenant une cabine (3) maintenue sur des câbles et pouvant être montée et descendue dans une cage d'ascenseur (2). Ce mécanisme comprend une poulie motrice (10) pour les câbles de la cage d'ascenseur (3) et un moteur d'entraînement (7) monté parallèlement à l'axe de la poulie motrice (10). Ledit moteur d'entraînement (7) est relié par une courroie d'entraînement (8) à une poulie à courroie (9), montée coaxialement à la poulie motrice (10). Ce mécanisme d'entraînement se présente de manière que le moteur d'entraînement (7) soit muni d'un dispositif de freinage (20) agissant sur l'arbre du moteur (16).
