Abstract

L'invention concerne un multifilament constitué essentiellement de téréphtalate de polytriméthylène, caractérisé par une résistance dans une courbe contrainte-déformation supérieure ou égale à 3 cN/dtex, un module de Young inférieur ou égal à 25 cN/dtex, un module de Young différentiel minimal, dans une plage d'allongement allant de 4 à 10 %, inférieur ou égal à 10 cN/dtex et une reprise élastique, après 10 % d'allongement, supérieure ou égale à 90 %. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'un fil de polyester, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes : filage par fusion d'un téréphtalate de polytriméthylène présentant un indice limite de viscosité [ eta ] supérieur ou égal à 0,7, pour former un multifilament ; filage du multifilament à une vitesse supérieure ou égale à 2000 m/min ; étirement du fil et traitement simultané à la chaleur, sans enroulement temporaire ; relaxation du fil obtenu à un degré de relaxation compris entre 6 et 20 % ; enroulement du fil pour former une bobine. Ce fil de polyester et un tissu obtenu à partir de ce dernier sont dépourvus d'enroulement excessivement serré même lorsque le fil est filé à grande vitesse. De plus, la dispersion de leurs propriétés dans le sens longitudinal de la fibre et la sensation de compression sont réduites.
