Abstract
L'invention concerne la purification électrochimique de milieux aqueux contaminés, par exemple des eaux souterraines et des eaux usées provenant d'installations industrielles telles que des papeteries, des usines de transformation alimentaire, et des usines textiles. Les milieux aqueux sont rapidement purifiés, décolorés, puis stérilisés à l'aide de cellules d'électrolyse de type ouvert (10) d'une conception améliorée et plus économique, ces cellules étant pourvues d'électrodes (18, 20) comprenant plusieurs corps conducteurs poreux en contact électrique les uns avec les autres. Ces cellules (10) peuvent être ou non divisées, et raccordées les unes aux autres dans une configuration monopolaire ou bipolaire.
