Abstract

La présente invention concerne une imprimante dans laquelle le chargement de supports (52) d'impression est grandement facilité, et dont la forme modulaire permet de réduire sensiblement le nombre de pièces normalement utilisées dans ce type d'imprimante. L'imprimante comprend une base (10) et un couvercle (12) associé entourant une zone intérieure de l'imprimante. Le couvercle (12) est mobile entre des positions ouverte et fermée, et est monté sur un cylindre (40) sollicité par un ressort, qui vient en contact avec une tête d'impression (50) fixée lorsque le couvercle (12) est refermé. Un mécanisme (15) de coupe, comprenant une lame fixe (15a) montée sur le couvercle (12) et une lame à va-et-vient (15b) montée sur la base (10), se sépare également lorsque le couvercle (12) est ouvert afin de faciliter encore plus le chargement de supports d'impression. La tête d'impression (50) est fixée à un montage de tête d'impression et à un module (54) de commande comprenant également des composants et un ensemble de circuits nécessaires au fonctionnement de la tête d'impression (50).
