Abstract

L'invention concerne des composés de formule (I): où Z?1¿ et Z?2¿ représentent chacun des atomes nécessaires pour compléter un système à chaîne fermée carbocyclique ou hétérocyclique monocyclique ou polycyclique, Z?1¿ et Z?2¿ pouvant éventuellement être respectivement substitués par R?6¿ et R?7¿; R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿ et R?4¿ représentent chacun carboxyalkyle (C¿1?-C¿2?), -(CH¿2?)¿n?-C(=O)-NH-R?8¿ ou -(CH¿2?)¿n?-C(=O)-O-R?8¿; R?5¿ représente carboxyalkyle (C¿1?-C¿2?); R?6¿ et R?7¿ représentent indépendamment hydrogène, benzyle ou benzyloxy, ces deux derniers étant éventuellement substituables par un, deux ou trois substituants choisis dans le groupe consistant en amino, isocyanato (-N=C=O), isothiocyanato (-N=C=S), -NH-C(=O)-X ou -NH-C(=S)-X; R?8¿ représente alkyle (C¿1?-C¿20?), -(CH¿2?)¿m?-Ar, ou polyhydroxyalkyle (C¿1?-C¿20?); n vaut 1 ou 2 et m 1 à 15; X représente une fraction de ciblage; et Ar représente phényle éventuellement substitué par un, deux ou trois substituants choisis dans le groupe consistant en amino, acylamino, hydroxy, alkyle (C¿1?-C¿5?) et halogène. Les composés de cette invention peuvent être chélatés avec un ion métallique et servir d'agents de contraste pour l'imagerie par résonance magnétique et d'autres utilisations. L'invention concerne aussi des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant un composé de l'invention et un vecteur ou diluant acceptable sur le plan pharmacologique. Elle concerne aussi un procédé, permettant d'obtenir une image d'une partie interne du corps d'un patient, consistant à lui administrer un composé de l'invention et à le soumettre à une opération d'imagerie par résonance magnétique pour obtenir des images de cette partie de son corps.
