MÉMOIRE DESCRIPTIF
TITRE: MUR A EFFET SYNERGIQUE

TITLE: WALL WITH SYNERGISTIC EFFECT
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to the field of systems for the insulation of 5 all types of buildings and more specifically houses, rooms cold stores, warehouses, factories, etc.
SUMMARY OF PRIOR ART
A number of insulation systems are currently known and available on the market:
* US 4,304,824 which shows us a mattress whose interior includes foam cells and which are surrounded by a vacuum sealed membrane. But this manufacturing process does not give not the desired rigidity; a packing of the foam cells can occur after a certain period of time and the large mass of 15 foam increases conduction. In addition, the manufacturing process makes it more expensive.
* US 4,172,164 which shows us a mattress composed of a series of cells formed of corrugations covered with two aluminum sheets, each sheet covered with a layer of hydrophilic material. This 20 application is used for the conduction of heat between a cold current and a hot current, which is precisely the opposite of what we are looking for. Our product is complementary to a wall to insulate and not be a heat exchanger.
* US 3,577.30S which shows us a double plastic mattress 25 with a double row of cells which is used mainly for the absorption of shock and reflect heat. Although the product has properties reflective, the central membrane that separates the cells is not glued to these. This has the effect of giving it flexibility not wanted in the applications of our product. In addition, this simple Iblq8349.doc makes this product more fragile in case of tearing of the membrane outside.
* US 3,523,055 which shows us a method of manufacturing a insulating sandwich including plastic cells made from 5 of a double central membrane. It is perforated in several places H (FIG. 2). The cells are covered on the outside by two outer covering membranes and the spaces between cells and the surface of the covering 19 are filled with a filling material which reduces the total air volume in the sandwich, therefore reduces the properties 10 product insulators.
* US 3,462,007 which shows us another manufacturing method cells and which consists of a double roller for production.
The cells thus produced are square in shape and contain, unlike our product, particles that absorb shocks.
15 This product is mainly intended for the protection of objects during a transport or storage and is in no way connected to the domain of thermal insulation. Among other things, it does not have a surface reflective on its external surface.
* DE 3,603,967 shows us an arrangement for the insulation of 20 roofs to keep an acceptable temperature in the attic and do not not decrease the space available in the latter. In addition, in this system, there is no wall with cells.
* FR 2,553,713 shows us a sandwich of thermal insulation which fulfills a secondary function of vapor barrier and which is made of 25 two metallized surfaces between which there are air cells. A
only row of air cells is present in this device relative two in ours.
* FR 2,504,520 shows us another system which consists of several layers of different materials which have the main task 30 to soundproof any wall. There is no question in Iblq8349.doc 2 this system, using air cells covered with surfaces metallic. This system is therefore not suitable for insulation thermal of a wall or other surfaces.
* GB 1,433,339 shows us another manufacturing method for 5 the plastic cells which are rectangular in shape and which have a central membrane like our product. The product does does not, however, have reflective surfaces external to cells and offers little heat reflecting power. So we don't can use this product in the insulation of buildings or others.
* US 4,924,969 illustrates a wall made up of several different successive insulation materials and used as an acoustic door, for reduce noise, but without significant heat-insulating property.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to counter the above drawbacks 15 above and allow more efficient insulation of buildings mainly by simplifying the insulation process, by reducing significantly the weight of this insulation, increasing the life of materials used in the composition of the wall more than 20 years ago, modifying the wall. Other objectives of this wall are an improvement of 20 more than 20% of the insulation efficiency, in addition to using a product which delays the spread of fire and withstands pressure well may suffer.
OF SSINS
We will describe in more detail below, for information only and in no way 25 limiting, a device according to the present invention with reference to attached drawing in which:
FIG. 1 is a section of a wall showing the different layers successive materials.
FIG.2 is an enlarged section along line 2-2 of FIG. 1.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Iblq8349.doc 3 The preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated in FIG. 1 where the same character-defining elements are identified by the same numbers and where we see a building wall 20 with a synergistic effect which includes a first external face 21 overlooking an external air film 22, 5 which is in fact the outside ambient air in contact with a finishing wall exterior 24 and a series of intermediate elements in succession. The exterior finish 24 is supported on first furs 26 of 19 mm themselves supported on a rigid or semi-insulating panel 28 rigid can be 19 mm thick fitted with a weatherstripping 10 integrated, the insulation panel 28 can be of the RX- styrofoam type ISOTM. The load-bearing structure of the construction wall 20 is a wall structure of uprights 30 and has a first side 29 and a second side 33 which may be identical. An empty space 31 of 87 mm inside the wall structure of uprights 30, followed by its first side 29 the insulating panel 28 and this empty space 31 is provided a horizontal cyclone barrier 32 to prevent the effect of fireplace. The cyclone barrier is made of 35 pieces of a sandwich insulation 34 9 mm thick. A panel made of edges of the same insulating sandwich 34 is supported on the second side 33 of the structure 20 wall uprights 30. Next second vertical furs 36 19 mm and third horizontal furs 38 19 mm. A
thickness of interior finishing wall of plasterboard type 40 follows and finally gives onto a second opposite interior face 41 adjoining a interior air film 42, which is also the ambient air inside the building.
The insulating panel 28 consists of an anti-conductor and a cutter kise integrated.
The insulating sandwich 34 (FIG.2) is composed of two reflective walls in the form of aluminum sheets, a first sheet of which 0.01 mm thick aluminum 44 having an outer face 30 reflective 45 and an inner face 46 is covered with a first Iblq8349.doc 4 CA 21 32o24 polyethylene film 48. A first row of bubbles 52 of a approximate diameter of 10 mm is arranged at a rate of about 8 air bubbles per 6.4 cm2 or about 125 bubbles per square decimetre. The first row of bubbles 52 is fixed by a first heat seal 50 5 to the first polyethylene film 48. A second central film 54 comes connecting, by a second heat sealing means 56, the first row of bubbles 52 to a second row of bubbles 58. The latter is attached to a third polyethylene film 6 ~ by a third heat sealing 62 and the third polyethylene film 60 is 10 normally pre-welded to the second aluminum sheet 66.
The synergistic effect construction wall 20 is constructed with non-polluting materials and also has the retarding properties fire, which removes the need to have a fire retardant independent and thereby decreases the thickness of the wall, 15 resulting in savings in construction cost. It is possible to use a 2 "x4", or 37x87mm instead of a 2 "x6", or 37xl37mm, while retaining a similar R factor. The double battening allows avoid damage caused by the passage of electrical wires, heating piping and fire sprinklers in the wall and in 20 the ceilings. The wall is therefore isolated thanks to an empty space 31, which which means that there is no longer any fiber used in the insulation, so less pollution and no installation requiring mask or discomfort itching from the fibers. In the wall of the invention, The insulation is inside, i.e. on the warm side compared to the 25 upright wall structure 30. The upright wall structure 30 remains at constant temperature which is that of the exterior finish 24.
This prevents too much variation in the temperature of the wall structure of uprights 30 which would have resulted in a deformation structural materials, giving rise to damage 30 important to the structure.
Iblq8349.doc 5 It is important that the number of air bubbles in the sandwich is the as low as possible in order to reduce the mass and therefore the conductivity.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The invention consists of a wall appearing in section in FIG. l comprising a first outer face corresponding to an air film exterior 22, a second opposite face corresponding to an air film interior 42 and a series of intermediate elements. These elements intermediaries include an exterior finishing wall 24, usually drywall, rigid insulation boards 28 or semi-rigid fitted with a weatherstripping, these panels being connected to the wall of exterior finish 24 by first furs 26 of l 9 mm. The first furs 26 leave a space between the insulation panels 28 and the exterior finishing wall 24. Intermediate elements also include a wall stud structure 30 comprising vertical uprights and cross members and leaving a empty space 3 l between these uprights and these crosspieces. The wall structure of amounts 30 is attached by its exterior to the insulation panels 28. An insulating sandwich 34 con ~ made up of air bubbles and walls reflectors is attached to the inside of the stud wall structure 30. Other furs, crossed vertically and horizontally relative to each other, a second vertical fur 36 and a third horizontal furring strip 38 is fixed on one side to the wall of drywall 40 and on the other, insulating sandwich 34.
It is important to note that the second vertical fur 36 is arranged vertically against the insulating sandwich 34 and is then followed by the third horizontal fur 38 which is arranged horizontally and against the plasterboard wall 40.
The insulating sandwich 34 appears in section in FIG. 2 and is composed a first aluminum sheet 44 of 0.006 to 0.025 mm, and at the maximum of 0.005 to 0.1mm and a first film of polyethylene 48 which Iblq8349.doc 6 CA ~ 1,32024 normally is already attached to the first aluminum sheet 44. A
first row of bubbles 52, of polymer, is joined by a first heat sealing 50 to an inner face 46 of the first sheet of aluminum 44. This first row of bubbles 52 has less than 5,125 bubbles per square decimetre. A second row of bubbles 58, having the same characteristics as the first row of bubbles 52, is arranged parallel to the latter. The two rows of bubbles are connected by a second central film 54 and this by a second heat seal 56. A second aluminum sheet 66 already 10 backed by a third polyethylene film 60 is attached to the second row of bubbles 58 by a third heat seal 62. One side internal 68 of the second aluminum sheet 66 touches the second vertical fur 36. The aluminum will preferably have a purity of 99.6%. Aluminum is preferably of the drawn type and not metallized.
15 Use of insulating sandwich covers gas barrier fields radon, vapor barrier, electromagnetic fields once exposed to mass and against infrared detection; the sandwich can be used in cold rooms to improve refrigeration.
OTHER POSSIBILITIES OF IMPLEMENTATION
