Abstract
ALMOFADA DE LOCALIZAçãO DE PERFIL BAIXO A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de acompanhamento de posição magnético para a realização de um procedimento médico em um paciente que está posicionado em uma superfície superior de uma mesa inclui uma almofada de localização, a qual é posicionada na superfície superior da mesa abaixo da paciente. A almofada de localização inclui um ou mais geradores de campo, os quais são operativos para a geração de respectivos campos magnéticos e as quais são dispostos de modo que uma dimensão de espessura da almofada de localização não seja maior do que 3 centímetros. Um sensor de posição é fixado a um dispositivo médico invasivo para inserção no corpo de um paciente, e é disposto de modo a detectar os campos magnéticos, de modo a se medir uma posição do dispositivo médico no corpo.
