Abstract

CONJUNTO DE EIXO DE DIREçãO PARA VEìCULO é provido um conjunto de eixo de direção de serviço pesado com um eixo móvel. O conjunto inclui uma viga de eixo se estendendo transversalmente através do veículo, um pino central disposto dentro de um furo de pino central na viga de eixo, um cotovelo montado no pino central e giratório em relação à viga de eixo, e um cubo de fuso configurado para montar uma roda de veículo. O conjunto de mancal é disposto entre o cotovelo e o cubo de fuso para permitir rotação do cubo de fuso. O conjunto possibilita o uso de um cotovelo fundido mais propriamente do que forjado, permite remoção e manutenção do rotor de freio do veículo sem remoção ou reajuste dos mancais de roda do veículo, e permite um flange de roda externo que pode ser facilmente substituído por flanges de excentricidade variável, sem exigir um novo conjunto de cubo de roda.
