Abstract

PROCESSO DE CICLOPROPANAÇçO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a ciclopropanação de um alqueno substituído, compreendendo a reação do alqueno com um carbenóide, gerado a partir do dibromometano e um composto de tri-(C2-C8)-alquil alumínio, na presença de uma quantidade catalítica de um composto de metal selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste em ácidos de Lewis, metalocenos e complexos de metal carbonila. O processo utiliza vantajosamente os compostos de metal de transição como catalisadores, e o dibromometano pode ser recuperado. O processo é especialmente útil para a preparação de ingredientes para a indústria de essências e fragrâncias.
