Abstract
PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVOS DE PRODUçãO DE FERRO FUNDIDO. A presente invenção se refere a um processo e dispositivo para produção de ferro fundido, em que um material carbonáceo base (H) é introduzido sobre a soleira de um forno de soleira rotativo (14), grânulos contendo material carbonáceo (D) compreendendo minério de ferro em pó (A) e carvão em pó (B) são colocados sobre o material carbonáceo base (H) e a soleira é obrigada a passar no interior do forno de soleira rotativo (14) para aquecer e reduzir os grânulos contendo material carbonáceo (D) em ferro reduzido sólido (F) e aquecer e secar o material carbonáceo base (H) através de destilação, produzindo carvão (G). Em seguida, o ferro reduzido sólido (F) e o carvão (G) são introduzidos em um forno de fundição de ferro (16), sem que sejam substancialmente resfriados e um gás contendo oxigênio é soprado dentro do forno de fundição de ferro (16) para fundir o ferro reduzido sólido (F), obtendo-se, dessa forma, ferro fundido (K). Pelo menos uma parte de um gás de exaustão (M), proveniente do forno de fundição de ferro (16), é usada como gás combustível no forno de soleira rotativo, após ser resfriada e ter o pó removido.
