Abstract

LENTE DE COMPRIMENTO FOCAL VARIáVEL. Uma lente de arranjo de microespelhos consiste em muitos microespelhos (13) com dois graus de liberdade rotacional e um grau de liberdade transiacional; e componentes de acionamento. O arranjo de microespelhos faz com que todas as luzes dispersas a partir de um ponto de um objeto tenham a mesma fase periódica e convirjam em um ponto do plano de imagem. Os componentes de acionamento controlam as posições dos microespelhos eletrostaticamente e/ou eletromagneticamente. A eficiência ótica da lente do arranjo de microespelhos é aumentada mediante localização de uma estrutura mecânica sustentando os microespelhos e os componentes de acionamento sob os microespelhos. Tecnologias de microeletrónica de semicondutor podem remover a perda em área refletiva efetiva devido aos blocos de eletrodo e fios. A lente pode corrigir aberração mediante controle de cada microespelho independentemente. Controle independente de cada microespelho é possível mediante tecnologias de microeletrónica de semicondutor, conhecidas. O arranjo de microespelhos também pode formar uma lente com formato e/ou tamanho arbitrário desejado.
