Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE POLIETILENO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo e equipamento para produzir continuamente polímeros olefínicos em um reator de polimerização em fase de pasta fluida em um diluente hidrocarbónico ou monómero líquido. O processo compreende retirar continuamente do reator em fase pasta fluida uma pasta fluida de polímero, contendo um polímero e uma fase fluida, que contém hidrocarbonetos e opcionalmente hidrogênio, e concentrar a pasta fluida em uma peneira autolimpante removendo uma parte da fase fluida, para fornecer uma pasta fluida concentrada. As aberturas da peneira, que pode ter uma configuração planar ou cilíndrica, são menores na superfície de entrada da peneira e aumentam em direção à superfície de saída. Pela presente invenção, a necessidade de manutenção é significativamente reduzida.
