Abstract

"CARCAçA PARA UMA BOMBA CENTRìFUGA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma carcaça de bomba para uma bomba centrífuga do tipo que é usado para processar pastas fluidas abrasivas tendo pelo menos um lado ou revestimento lateral que tem uma parte se estendendo radialmente orientada na direção do difusor da carcaça de bomba para localizar o desgaste abrasivo causado pelas pastas fluidas abrasivas no lado da carcaça de bomba. O revestimento lateral da bomba é configurado com uma borda de perímetro que é não-circular. A carcaça de bomba pode de preferência ser configurada com uma configuração de difusor aberta ou outra configuração adequada para localizar o desgaste nos lados da carcaça.
