Abstract

"PROCESSOS DE LIXIVIAçãO E RECUPERAçãO DE NìQUEL OU COBALTO". A presente invenção refere-se a ácido sulfúrico 205 e a um agente de redução 220 que na etapa b (etapa de lixiviação) são adicionados a um minério em pasta fluida 204 para reduzir um óxido de cobalto trivalente enquanto o minério é lixiviado com ácido sulfúrico 205 para obter um lixiviado de ácido sulfúrico 208 contendo níquel e cobalto e um resíduo de lixiviação 209. O resíduo de lixiviação 209 contém Natrojarosite gerado por uma reação de ferro lixiviado a partir do minério em pasta fluida 204 com ácido sulfúrico 205 e um sal de sódio 206.
