Abstract
"MéTODO DE DETONAçãO DE MúLTIPLAS CAMADAS OU NìVEIS DE ROCHA". A presente de invenção refere-se a um método de detonação de camadas plurais de material (38, 40, 42, 44) em um campo de detonação (16) que reduz a quantidade de escavação mecânica necessária para expor uma camada inferior de material. O método inclui o uso de fileiras de orifícios de detonação igualmente espaçados (18, 20, 22, 24) que passam através de todas as camadas e fileiras intermediárias de orifícios de detonação (26, 28) que passam apenas através da camada de topo (40). Cada orifício de detonação é tampado com material de corte e inclui uma ou mais plataformas de material explosivo (46) e de detonadores (48), com plataformas de ar ou corte inerte (45) separando plataformas adjacentes de explosivos (46). Os detonadores na camada (40) são detonados primeiro na ordem da fileira (18) para trás para arremessar uma quantidade substancial do material de detonação da camada (40) para frente da face livre (12) sobre o piso (34). No mesmo ciclo de detonação e dentro de segundos da detonação por arremesso, material explosivo nas camadas (42, 44) é detonado em uma detonação vertical em que o material nas camadas (38, 42, 44) é fragmentado, mas, por outro lado, minimamente deslocado ou atirado para frente. As camadas (38, 44) podem ser veios de carvão que são separados por camada intersticial (42) e cobertas por sobrecamada (40).
