Abstract
"MéTODO PARA CONTAR AGENTES BIOLóGICOS, MEIO LEGìVEL POR COMPUTADOR, E, SISTEMA PARA CONTAR AGENTES BIOLóGICOS". A invenção é dirigida a técnicas de contagem para contar agentes biológicos em uma placa de crescimento biológico ou meio semelhante. A fim de automatizar a contagem de agentes biológicos, uma placa de crescimento biológico é inserida em uma unidade de varredura biológica. Na inserção da placa de crescimento biológico, a unidade de varredura biológica gera uma imagem da placa. Então, a quantidade de agentes biológicos que aparece na imagem, tal como um número de colónias bacterianas, pode ser contada ou caso contrário determinado usando processamento de imagem e rotinas de análise executadas tanto pela unidade de varredura ou um dispositivo de computação externo, tal como um computador de mesa, estação de trabalho ou similar. Uma variedade de regras de contagem é descrita aqui que podem ser usadas para melhorar a precisão de contagens automatizadas de agentes biológicos em uma placa de crescimento biológico.
