Abstract

"PARTìCULAS DE SìLICA AMORFA TENDO CAPACIDADES DE ABSORçãO ELEVADAS E CARACTERìSTICAS ESTRUTURAIS SUPERIORES". A presente invenção proporciona partículas de sílica amorfa tendo elevadas capacidades de absorção e elevadas características estruturais, em que a capacidade de absorção de óleo é duramente diminuída, mesmo quando uma elevada carga é aplicada às partículas de sílica amorfa. Em particular, partículas de sílica amorfa são proporcionadas, em que o valor máximo de <30>Vp/<30>Rp (onde Vp é o volume de poro ¢mm¬ 3¬/g! e Rp é o radio de poro ¢nm!) é de 20 mm¬ 3¬/nm.g¬ -1¬ ou mais na curva de distribuição de poro obtida por um método de isoterma de adsorção de benzeno e o raio de pico de poro quando o <30>Vp/<30>Rp é no máximo de 20 nm ou mais a 100 nm ou menos.
