Abstract

"BATERIA ALCALINA". Uma bateria alcalina contendo oxiidróxido de níquel esférico de cristal tendo estrutura do tipo <225> como uma substância ativa de eletrodo positiva. No perfil de difração em pó para raio-X tendo o Cu de oxiidróxido de níquel como um alvo, a largura W de meio pico do pico P de difração pela face (001) é de 0,6,<198> ou menos. A relação II/W da altura II do pico P para a largura W do meio pico é de 10000 ou acima. O número de valência médio do níquel contido no oxiidróxido de níquel esférico é de 2,95 ou acima. Quando tal oxiidróxido de níquel é empregado, uma bateria alcalina apresentando excelentes características de descarga de carga pesada e tendo uma densidade de energia intensificada, pode ser obtida.
