Abstract
"FOLHA DE POLIOLEFINA ESPUMADA, PROCESSO PARA PRODUZì-LA E PRODUTOS OBTIDOS". A presente invenção relaciona-se com o uso de misturas particulares de PEBDL e PDBD entre si com condições específicas de fabricação para produzir folhas espumadas de bitola fina com propriedades de corte na DM similares a uma folha não espumada equivalente da mesma composição. Em particular, misturas que combinam uma fração rica em PEBDL de alto MI com uma fração menor de PEBD ramificado de baixo MI provêem o equilíbrio adequado de resistência mecânica da base polimérica com sua resistência de fundido, extensibilidade e relaxamento de tensão, permitindo uma película de espuma fina com resistência ao corte na DM que é comparável com contrapartes não espumadas de bitola e composição similares. As películas espumadas da presente invenção são finas (geralmente de cerca de 1 a 10 mils de espessura), e têm uma resistência ao corte na DM de pelo menos cerca de 160 gramas para uma película de 3 mils se medida pela ASTM D 1922. As películas espumadas da presente invenção são preferivelmente produzidas pelo menos em parte de misturas que compreendem de 10 a 95 por cento em peso de PEBDL tendo um MI relativamente alto (1, 5 a 6) e de 5 a 90 por cento de uma resina de PEBD tendo um MI relativamente baixo (0,5 a 2,0).
