Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA REPRESENTAçãO DE GRANULARIDADE DE IMAGEM POR UM OU MAIS PARáMETROS". Para simular grão de filme em um sinal de vídeo comprimido, um decodificador (15, 28) recebe uma mensagem contendo informações que contêm um conjunto de um ou mais parâmetros, cada um especificando certo atributo associado ao grão de filme. Por exemplo, um dos parâmetros especificará o modelo utilizado para simular o grão de filme, ao passo que outros parâmetros especificam cada um fator específico associado àquele modelo. Após recebimento da mensagem, o decodificador seleciona o modelo, e simula o grão de filme para adição ao sinal de vídeo após descompressão.
