Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA OXIDAçãO DE AMÈNIA, CONJUNTO CATALISADOR E SEUS USOS". Processo para a oxidação de amónia, incluindo o processo de Andrussow, é descrito, em que uma mistura compreendendo ar e amónia é contatada com um catalisador de oxidação de amónia de metal precioso e a mistura gasosa resultante contatada com um catalisador eficaz para a decomposição de óxido nitroso, caracterizado pelo fato de, antes do contato da mistura gasosa com o catalisador eficaz para a decomposição de óxido nitroso, a mistura gasosa é contatada com um material de proteção. O material de proteção protege o catalisador de decomposição de óxido nitroso da deposição de metal precioso e/ou envenenamento do catalisador. Em uma concretização preferida, o catalisador eficaz para a decomposição de óxido nitroso também funciona como um catalisador de oxidação de amónia.
