Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A OXIDAçãO PARCIAL DE PROPENO A áCIDO ACRìLICO EM FASE GASOSA". A invenção refere-se a um método para a oxidação em fase gasosa heterogeneamente catalisada de propeno para formar ácido acrílico. De acordo com o referido método, a mistura inicial do gás da reação contendo propeno é oxidada, em um primeiro estágio de reação, em um leito de leito de catalisador fixo (a), que consiste de uma pluralidade de zonas de leito de leito de catalisador fixo, e dispostas em duas zonas de temperatura sucessivas A e B. A mistura de gás do produto contendo acroleína do primeiro estágio de reação é então oxidada, em um segundo estágio de reação, em um leito de catalisador fixo (2), que consiste de uma pluralidade de leitos de leito de catalisador fixo e dispostos em duas zonas de temperatura sucessivas C e D. A transição a partir de uma zona de temperatura para outra zona de temperatura não coincide espacialmente com uma transição a partir de uma zona de leito de leito de catalisador fixo para outra zona de leito de leito de catalisador fixo dentro de um estágio de reação.
