Um método de fazer uma bomba (10) incluindo um alojamento de bomba polimérico (12) e um eixo de acionamento (14) montado para rotação em um mancal (16), o mancal (16) tendo em uma superfície externa pelo menos uma formação para engate (44), o método incluindo a etapa de moldar o alojamento de bomba (12) em torno do mancal (16), de modo que o alojamento (12) coopere com a formação para engate (44) para restringir movimento do mancal (16) com respeito ao alojamento (12).
