Abstract

"APARELHO E MÉTODO DE DECODIFICAÇÃO DE ÁUDIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de decodificação de áudio que decodifica sinais de componente de alta freqüência usando um expansor de banda que gera múltiplos sinais de sub-banda de freqüência alta a partir dos sinais de sub-banda de freqüência baixa divididos em múltiplas sub-bandas e uma informação codificada de freqüência alta transmitida. O aparelho é provido com um detector de serrilhado e um removedor de serrilhado. O detector de serrilhado detecta o grau de ocorrência de componentes de serrilhado nos múltiplos sinais de sub-banda de freqüência alta gerados pelo expansor de banda. O removedor de serrilhado suprime componentes de serrilhado nos sinais de sub-banda de freqüência alta pelo ajuste do ganho usado para a geração dos sinais de sub-banda de freqüência alta. Assim, uma ocorrência de serrilhado pode ser suprimida e a degradação resultante na qualidade do som pode ser reduzida, mesmo quando sinais de sub-banda de valor real forem usados, de modo a se reduzir o número de operações.
