Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA MINIMIZAR IMPUREZAS CAPAZES DE SE LIGAR REVERSIVELMENTE AOS SìTIOS RECEPTORES DE ETILENO EM UMA PLANTA E PARA FORNECER UM COMPOSTO E METILCICLOPROPENO A UMA PLANTA PARA INIBIR UMA RESPOSTA AO ETILENO NA PLANTA, E, COMPLEXO". A presente invenção, no geral, diz respeito à regulagem da fisiologia planta, em particular a Métodos para inibir a resposta ao etileno em plantas ou produtos plantas e tem três modalidades. A primeira modalidade diz respeito a Métodos de minimizar impurezas capazes de se ligarem reversivelmente aos sítios receptores de etileno na planta durante a síntese de ciclopropano e seus derivados, tais como, metilciclopropeno, evitando deste modo os efeitos negativos que estas impurezas têm em plantas tratados com ciclopropeno e seus derivados. A segunda modalidade diz respeito a complexos formados a partir de agentes de encapsulação molecular, tais como, ciclodextrina e ciclopropeno e seus derivados tais como metilciclopropeno, além de ciclopentadieno e diazociclopentadieno e seus derivados fornecendo deste modo meios convenientes para armazenar e transportar estes compostos capazes de inibir a resposta ao etileno em plantas, que são gases reativos e altamente instáveis por causa da oxidação e outras reações potenciais. A terceira modalidade diz respeito a Métodos convenientes de fomecer aos plantas estes compostos capazes de inibir a resposta ao etileno nos plantas de modo a prolongar o seu tempo de vida em prateleira.
