Abstract
"VIDRO DE CAL SODADA COM TONALIDADE AZUL" A invenção refere-se a um vidro de cal sodada colorido, de tonalidade azul, que contém mais que 2% em peso de MgO, mais que 1,1% em peso de Fe~ 2~O~ 3~, menos que 0,53% em peso de FeO e menos que 0,13% em peso de MnO~ 2~, e apresentam sob uma fonte luminosa A e para uma espessura de vidro de 4 mm, um fator de transmissão (TLA4) maior que 15%, uma seletividade (SE4) maior que 1,2 e um comprimento de onda dominante (<sym>~ D~) e uma pureza de excitação (P) de forma tal que se localizem no diagrama de coordenadas de cromaticidade CIE dentro de um triângulo, onde os vértices estão definidos pelo ponto que representa a fonte luminosa C e os pontos onde as coordenadas (<sym>~ D~, P) são (490, 19) e (476, 49) respectivamente. O mencionado vidro é particularmente adequado para janelas laterais, janelas traseiras e tetos solares de veículos motorizados.
