Abstract

''POLIéSTERES FUNCIONAIS EPóXI MODIFICADOS, COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO CURáVEL EM Pó DURáVEL AO AR LIVRE, E, SUBSTRATO''. Poliésteres funcionais epóxi modificados, obteníveis através da reação de epialoidrina e preferivelmente epicloridrina, na presença de uma base com resinas II poliéster funcional carboxila obteníveis reagindo: (a) pelo menos um composto A de ácido dicarboxílico aromático ou cicloalifático compreendendo dois grupos carboxilas aromáticos- ou alifáticos secundários ou seu anidrido; (b) pelo menos um composto B diol compreendendo dois grupos hidroxila alifáticos, que podem independentemente ser um grupo hidroxila primário ou secundário; e opcionalmente (c) composto C1 compreendendo um grupo hidroxila monofuncional primário- ou secundário e/ou pelo menos um composto C2 compreendendo um grupo hidroxila primário- ou secundário e um grupo carboxila alifático terciário; e opcionalmente (d) um composto D de ácido diidroximonocarboxílico compreendendo um grupo carboxila alifático terciário e dois grupos hidroxila alifáticos, que podem cada um independentemente ser hidroxila primário ou secundário; e opcionalmente (e) um triidroxialcano (E1) ou tetraidroxialcano (E2), a proporção molar de compostos A:B:C1:C2:D:E1:E2 sendo X+Y+1:X:M:N:Y:Z:Q em que M+N está na faixa desde 0 até 2, X varia de 2 a 8 e Y varia de 0 a 8, Z varia de 0 a 2 e Q varia de 0 a 2 na temperatura de 100 a 220°C, até qua a parte predominante dos grupos carboxila não terciário quando inicialmente presentes na mistura de reação, i.e., 75 % ou mais, tenham sido convertidos, e a reação subseq³ente da citada composição obtida de poliéster (III) epóxi funcional tendo um EGC na faixa de 500 a 3000 e a média numérica do peso molecular M~ n~ na faixa de 500 a 10.000, com um isocianato (IV), em uma relação molar de III:IV tal que pelo menos todos os grupos hidroxila terminais presentes serão convertidos. Preferivelmente a relação molar entre o poliéster epóxi funcional de partida e o isocianato está na faixa de 0,9:1 a 1.2:1 e as composições de revestimento em pó compreendendo o citado poliéster epóxi funcional modificado.
