Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"ENXERTAMENTO DE MONÈMEROS ETILENICAMENTE INSATURADOS SOBRE POLìMEROS"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de polímeros enxertados em que uma primeira etapa A) um radical nitroxila estável é enxertado sobre um polímero, etapa a qual compreende o aquecimento de um polímero e um radical nitroxila estável (NO<sym>); e, em uma segunda etapa B) o polímero enxertado da etapa A) é aquecido na presença de um monómero ou oligómero etilenicamente insaturado até uma temperatura na qual clivagem da ligação nitroxila-polímero ocorre e a polimerização do monómero ou oligómero etilenicamente insaturado é iniciada no radical polimérico; manutenção da referida temperatura para outra polimerização e, após o que, resfriamento da mistura para uma temperatura abaixo de 60°C. Outros assuntos são polímeros enxertados preparados por meio do referido processo, o uso do iniciador de radical polimérico e o uso de radicais NO para enxertamento de polímeros.
