Abstract

<B>"PASTILHA DE CORTE INSERIDA EM FERRAMENTAS DE FRESAGEM ROTATIVAS"<D>. A presente invenção se refere a uma pastilha de corte que compreende uma superfície superior de cavaco (16), uma superfície de base (17) e superfícies laterais (18, 19) entre as mesmas. Em cada uma das faces terminais, a pastilha de corte apresenta porções que se projetam axialmente (22, 23), cada qual aparecendo com uma face chanfrada (26, 27). São fornecidas bordas de corte principais (24, 25) na interseção entre a superfície do cavaco (16) e as superfícies laterais (18, 19). Sobre cada superfície lateral é fornecida uma superfície de afastamento (30), formada sobre uma porção saliente (32), que através de um afastamento escalonado se estende dentro de uma superfície de afastamento secundária alongada, de forma helicoidal torcida, cujo ângulo de cavaco aumenta com o aumento da profundidade de corte. A face superior (16) inclui ao longo das bordas de corte principais (24, 25) uma supefície inclinada plana (34, 35) com largura constante, que se estende internamente e intercepta uma superfície de ruptura de cavaco secundária que se inclina para cima (36, 37). Graças a essa modalidade é obtido um ângulo de borda funcional constante, ao longo de uma linha de borda ondulada, que combinado com cavacos mais otimizados formados em grandes velocidades de corte, contribuem para uma aperfeiçoada usinagem em matériais de peças de trabalho produtores de cavacos grandes.
