Abstract
<B>REDES DE COMUNICAçãO COM LINKS DE COMUNICAçãO PESSOAL PARA ASSINANTES DE PSTN<D> Sistemas para conectar linhas de infra-estrutura de telecomunicações a telefones, monofones, computadores, máquinas de telecópia e outras interfaces de usuário final ou dispositivos eletrónicos de consumidor em uma residência ou firma. Sistemas de acordo com a presente invenção incluem Unidades de Controle de Rede que formam o centro de uma topologia de estrela e que se comunicam através de link RF com Unidades de Acesso sem Fio e monofones. As Unidades de acesso sem Fio apresentam uma interface, como, por exemplo, uma tomada de telefone padrão, para acomodar um telefone, uma máquina de fax, um modem de computador ou outro dispositivo. Computadores ou outros dispositivos também podem ser acomodados por Unidades de Acesso Sem fio tendo outras interfaces física e virtual, incluindo, por exemplo, canais em série ou intefaces de rede. As Unidades de Acesso sem Fio também podem ser digitais para acomodar ISDN ou qualquer outro padrão digital. Acessórios de controle/monitoração sem fio também podem ser empregados para comunicar-se com a unidade de controle de Rede e fornecer funcionalidade adicional como monitoração de entrada, monitoração de bebê, controle HVAC e outros serviços. Links de Comunicação Pessoal fornecem serviços de alto-falante e monofone sem fio. Os Links de Comunicação Pessoal incluem trajeto de falar/ouvir independentes da unidade para a Unidade de Controle de Rede.
