Copolímero de polioxipropileno polióis catalisado com DMC que exibe latitude de processamento similar aos análogos de copolímero com base catalisada e análogos de homopolioxipropileno com base catalisada podem ser preparados através de oxialquilação com uma mistura de óxido de propileno e óxido de etileno de modo que um teor de óxido de etileno finito é mantido no reator de oxialquilação durante a parte mais importante da oxialquilação, o polioxipropileno poliol tendo porções oxietileno aleatoriamente distribuídas que constituem 1,5 por cento em peso ou mais do produto de poliol.
