Abstract

"SENSOR PARA APLICAçãO EM METAIS DERRETIDOS". Sensor eletroquímico para medir a atividade de um componente metálico num metal derretido, que compreende, o metal derretido como o eletrodo de medição, um eletrodo de referência que contém o componente metálico a ser medido, separados um do outro por um líquido de haleto condutor de íons que compreende o componente metálico a ser medido e imobilizado num suporte poroso não condutor construído dum material inerte ou quase inerte ao material derretido, ao haleto e ao material do eletrodo de referência, e em que o eletrodo de referência compreende além disso uma ligação exterior que compreende um fio elétrico seguro num material de isolamento elétrico que é quimicamente inerte ou quase inerte ao material derretido e ao material do eletrodo de referência, caracterizado por a calafetagem do eletrodo de referência, o qual está adaptado para ser calafetado, ser feita por cimento de temperatura elevada e pelo próprio metal derretido e por uma calafetagem estanque a gás da ligação exterior acima do metal fundido, e por eletrodo de referência ser introduzido por um processo de fusão.
