Abstract
<B>''COMPOSIçãO CATALISADORA E PROCESSO PARA SUA PREPARAçãO''<D> A presente invenção se refere a uma composição catalisadora. A composição compreende um composto de titânio, um fósforo, uma amina, um solvente e opcionalmente um co-catalisador em que o composto de fósforo possui uma fórmula selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste de (R¹O)~ x~(PO)(OH)~ 3-X~, (R¹O)~ Y~(P~ 2~O~ 3~)(OH)~4- y~ e suas combinações; a amina é uma amina terciária; cada R~ 1~ é independentemente um radical alquila linear ou ramificado, contendo de 1 a cerca de 20 átomos de carbono por radical; x é 1 ou 2; e y é 1, 2 ou 3; e o co-catalizador pode ser um catalisador de cobalto/alumínio, um composto de antimónio, ou suas combinações. Também é descrito um processo de produção da composição. O processo compreende a combinação de um composto de titânio, um composto de fósforo, um solvente, uma amina, um solvente e, opcionalmente, um co-catalisador. O composto de fósforo, a amina e o solvente são os mesmos descritos acima. é descrito adicionalmente um processo para utilização da composição, que compreende o contato de um composto carbonila, na presença da composição, com um álcool sob condição apropriada para esterificação, transesterificação, polimerização ou suas combinações.
