Abstract

<B>"JANELA DE VIDRO A PROVA DE BALA PARA VEìCULO A MOTOR"<D> A presente invenção se refere a uma janela de vidro a prova de bala, particularmente para o uso como uma janela lateral retrátil de um veículo a motor, com várias placas de vidro (1, 3, 5) arranjadas em camadas e laminados (2, 4), com pelo menos um laminado sendo posicionado entre duas placas de vidro adjacentes em cada caso, de modo a unir as duas placas de vidro, com um degrau ou porção saliente que é formada na borda da janela de vidro a prova de bala e com uma projeção (8) para alojar a janela de vidro a prova de bala num chassi (14) ou caixilho de porta, e com uma blindagem de metal que, na área da projeção (8), pelo menos cobre a superfície interna da projeção, na área do degrau ou porção saliente, um descanso (12) sendo formado na face, e a blindagem de metal (6) se estendendo para dentro do descanso (12).
