Abstract

Una ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas, en particular parauso como una ventana lateral abatible de un vehículo de motor, con varias hojas de vidrio colocadas en capas y laminados, con por lo menos un laminado colocado entre dos hojas de vidrio adyacentes, con el fin de unir las dos hojas de vidrio, con una porción de escalonamiento o escalonada que se forma en el borde de la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas y con una proyección para alojar la ventana de vidrio a prueba de balas en un bastidor o bastidor de puerta, y con un refuerzo o una armadura metálica la cual, en el área de la proyección, cubre por lo menos la superficie interior de la proyección, caracterizada porque en el área de la proyección se forma un rebajo sobre la cara, y en donde el refuerzo de la armadura metálica se extiende dentro de los rebajos.
